Stability and geometrically nonlinear analysis of steel structures
Ondášová, Annamária ; Puklický, Libor (referee) ; Kala, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis is dealing with the stability and geometrically nonlinear analysis of a steel structure, explanation of the principles and procedure of the steel structure calculations. The modeled structure is loaded with pressure forces and subsequently the bearing capacity of the structure is calculated using a stability and geometrically nonlinear analysis with initial imperfections. The solution of the frame structure using both approaches can provide slightly different results, which can have an impact on the assessment of the reliability of the structure, its over or under-dimensioning.

Structural beam and shell models were assembled in ANSYS program package. Design loads are defined according to Euro codes. Nonlinear analysis of structure has been established. Ultimate limit state of beams and cross sections were determined. Obtained results of ultimate limit state analysis were compared with Euro codes for design thin-walled steel structures.
Detached Family Residence
Mikuš, Martin ; Vávra, Petr (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The subject of this work is the design of a detached family house in area Nove Domky near Jihlava in which natural construction materials were used. Instead of concrete or bricks, this building is designed with materials such as straw, rock, timber, clay, hemp or sheep's wool. Furthermore, the work deals with methods of plumbing, electrical installations and heating. The possible utilization of natural energy resources or ecological processing of waste were also taken into account. The conclusion contains the financial comparison with a building where traditional and industrially produced materials are used.
Wooden-based Detached House
Martečíková, Martina ; Šibal, Jan (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with design of timber frame house situated in the cadastral area Horná Mariková, region Považská Bystrica. It is detached house standing on the gentle slope near the forest. It is designed for family of four. The house has one storey, residential loft and basement. There is the saddleback roof. The house is designed like a timber frame construction with Fermacell boards. An entrance is situated on the east, living rooms are situated on the south and the west.
